Plain-English rules for using Lem during beta.
Lem is an AI service that reads Telegram and WhatsApp groups your own account is a member of, extracts structured data, and sends alerts. You remain responsible for the content of those groups and your relationship with their participants.
You agree NOT to use Lem for:
We reserve the right to suspend any account that we believe violates these rules.
When you connect your Telegram or WhatsApp account, you authorize Lem to hold a session on your behalf solely for the purpose of reading the groups you specifically selected. You remain responsible for protecting your login credentials and for the actions your account takes within the platforms.
Lem is provided as is, during public beta. There is no uptime guarantee, no SLA, and features may change without notice. While we strive for stability, you should not rely on Lem for time-critical or life-safety decisions.
Beta access is currently free. We may introduce paid tiers before general availability. If we do, existing beta users will be given at least 14 days' notice and the option to cancel before any charges begin.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lem and its operators are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the service, including missed alerts, false positives, data loss, or account suspension by upstream platforms.
You can close your account at any time (§6 of the Privacy Policy). We can suspend accounts that violate §2 or that we believe compromise the integrity of the service.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email / Telegram message at least 14 days before taking effect.
